Aleksi Lumijärvi (Lic.Sc. & M.Sc. Business Administration and Environmental Management) is the Chief Strategy Officer of GreenStream and has 20 years of experience in energy sector consulting, financial advisory and fund management, and is an internationally recognised expert in the fields of renewable energy, energy efficiency and climate finance.

Aleksi was responsible for the management of GreenStream’s first own carbon funds. He has acted as financial advisor in a large number of transaction processes in investment projects and businesses around the world, including M&A, project finance, leasing, private equity, venture capital, etc. He has advised industrial and technology companies, utilities, international financing institutions, governments and the European Commission in finance, business model, market and policy related issues. In 2014-2016 Lumijärvi worked as a renewable energy finance expert in the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
