Jussi Nykänen, Chairman and Founding Partner of GreenStream Network Ltd, has over 25 years’ experience in energy and environmental businesses. Throughout his career the main drivers have been the three i’s: innovation,  implementation and impact.

Jussi has extensive experience in managing and supervising operations in various fields of environmental business. These cover i.a. environmental and cleantech policies, fund management, project financing and project implementation as well as activities for internationalisation and expansion of early-stage cleantech businesses.

Jussi has been active in the boards of various companies, associations and governmental programme including EUR 90 million Climbus Technology Programme and EUR 94 million Finnish Technology Development Programme Groove – Growth from Renewables Programme of TEKES and the governmental programme Cleantech Finland. He has acted as an expert for the Finnish Academy and is an active lecturer to boost environmental activities, businesses and know-how and to increase collaboration between the Nordic countries and China.

Jussi holds M.Sc. (Energy Economics) and Lic. Tech. (Environmental Technology) from the Helsinki University of Technology, Finland, and has graduated as a Doctor (Mechanical Engineering) from the Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands.
