The management and staff of GreenStream are deeply saddened by the news of the sudden passing away of Tommi Tynjälä, one of the initial founders of the Company. Tommi was an internationally renowned climate expert and was crucial to growth of GreenStream in its early years. After departing the Company in June 2007 he held senior roles in the climate teams of the Asian Development Bank and the Nordic Environmental Finance Corporation. Tommi played a significant role in the drafting of the Marrakech Accords and the development of the flexible mechanisms, and as noted by Jussi Nykänen, his intellect and warmth will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Our deepest condolences to his wife Tanya and three children.
