GreenStream developed, implemented and managed four proprietary carbon funds which acquire Certified Emission Reductions (CERs) under the Kyoto Protocol’s Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) on behalf of fund investors.
GreenStream lead a ground-breaking project to support Kazakhstan’s efforts to transition into a green economy and become a regional hub for green finance. The project was established to assist the Astana International Financial Center in the scoping, conceptualisation and development of a domestic green financial system.
GreenStream analysed the possibilities for an external expansion of the EU ETS in two separate assignments, for the Nordic Council of Ministers and for the Finnish Federation of Energy Industries. Two sectors of special interest were identified, road transport and heating.
GreenStream provided support and analytical services for the Finnish Government regarding the Paris Agreement.
